I think Reagan would not have been nearly the effective President that he was without the experience of being Governor of California for two terms.
....”Cruz supporters are loyal. We stick with our guy”....
That does not mean we don’t get excited when others wave as Trumps been doing. I’ve been enjoying the show alot...most have. He’s entertaining as well...
Meanwhile when it comes down to the wire I’ll be voting for whoever gets the nomination when it comes to the election itself...I’m hoping it’s Cruz...but you can never tell that’s for sure.
Cruz has picked up a couple percentage points, when you look at RCP averages. And now it's two polls in a row. So it's not just loyal Cruz-bots sticking by their guy, he's pulled people from some of the others. At this point the 2% candidates are on their way to zero, so some are from there. But Rubio, Huck, Carson and Rand Paul have all lost support. Carson the most dramatic.
Did I miss something? I don't recall Carson being anything but Carson. I've never felt he would make it too far, but surprised to see him lose half his support this month.
“Dont underestimate the effect of a stoutly partisan MSM moderator”
Trump would have no qualms whatsoever in calling out a partisan moderator in any debate. He’d go after such a fool who might do so, right from the stage. I’d love to see that happen, if any moderator was so stupid as to try to pull a dirty trick. They’d be decimated in short order by The Donald.
Trump has already done so in interviews with reporters. He nailed that Reporterette bigtime the other day in an interview he had with her at the Trump Tower. Trump won’t let them get away with anything without calling attention to what they are really up to.
Shocking, simply shocking. I never thought Trump would rise to the top with all negative response from MSM and other politicians.
Yes I do. Speaking Spanish won’t cut it for Rubio. He is considered a traitor by those who put him in the Senate, the TEA PARTY. Most of Florida speaks ENGLISH. Bush speaking Spanish more than English in his home is going to hurt him as well. Florida is becoming polarized and the “Workers”...the ones who get things done before and during elections, are NOT going to place their bets on a KNOWN traitor....which is what Rubio is.
And that is why I have backed away a bit from Walker. Still on my list, but not as high as he was. Rubio will hurt him in Florida.
What’s his spread against Bernie Sanders? LOL!
Of course you are right...it is one thing knowing what should be done and how it should be done and quite another thing to get the DC politicians to get on board with it.
My statement is true in the sense none of the candidates have actually negotiated business deals with foreign countries on the scale of Trump. Also, no private business can accumulate Billions without having a stringent control on expenses & spending & waste.

Woah, you’re not giving the Scots the credit they deserve. Germans tend to follow the “leader.” Scots are fighters, which is what we need, and their contributions to civilization would surprise you.
“Whats his spread against Bernie Sanders? LOL!”
I don’t see that in the polling data. But this poll result clearly says Trump would be a disaster for the GOP.
But for now he is clearly the “flavor-of-the-week.”
I’m just here to watch the show.
If I’ve read him correctly. TRUMP has an entire play written. We’ve only scene scene one act one. He going to make a point about “jobs” next.
What city is dealing with inner city chaos that need jobs.and has recently been in the news? Hint: burned CVS Today Carr radio
Don't forget he would have the bully pulpit and would not be afraid to use it.
I blame Bush for the way liberals are such tyrants today. He was mealy mouthed and refused to fight back.
Trump wouldn't let them get away with it without pushing back.
The CNN poll, for example, was all adult americans as a sample.
No self-respecting pollster would hint at such a sample if they were seeking to accurately forecast a vote.
Who benefits from it NOT being likely voters surveyed?
Thanks for the compliment. A friend and I have matched up the excellent bench we have to their area of expertise. In our dream world they run as a team. Even Krauthauer mentioned something similar the other day

Think of each candidates resumees!
Einstein, Von Braun, Max Planck, Max Bom, Oppenheimer, etc were some of the greatest minds ever to walk the earth. All Germans!
Did I miss something? I don’t recall Carson being anything but Carson. I’ve never felt he would make it too far, but surprised to see him lose half his support this month.
.................................................
IMHO Carson had a lot of support from people who are sick to death of politicians. He has lost much of that support to Trump because Trump is also not a politician and is showing himself to be a Fighter. Carson’s support was thin and will get thinner.
“Would you bet three new supreme court appointments on it?”
Yes. My guess is Trump would appoint Supreme Court candidates that are a little to the right of Attila the Hun. I think Trump is real mad right now at what is happening to our country, and any vestiges of liberalism left in him has shrunk down to miniscule, if not infinitesimal levels.
I watched a friend of mine change this way. Years ago she voted for Clinton the first time he ran. She was pro abortion. Then she adopted kids. Today she is adamantly against abortion, has two now adult very Catholic kids, and she is also to the right of Attila the Hun herself. As long as one is changing their viewpoints in the right direction, I’m all for it.
I worked on my friend for years, and it has all paid off, that and her inherent ability to see things as they really are rather than the pie-in-the-sky way of viewing the world. We must stop not giving credit to people changing for the better, not worse, and acknowledge and encourage their having done so. People don’t live in a time warp of what they were when younger or when they weren’t really paying attention to politics. Not everyone is a political beast like Freepers are by nature, lol.
If anyone lives in a stagnant time warp, it is liberals locked into the Aquarian Age, the 60’s. There are plenty of today’s Conservatives though, who managed to escape the 60’s and now are staunchly on the right side of political thinking.
Don’t ostracize these people who “evolve”, many are on their way to being equally rabid Conservatives as they once may have been liberal at one time in their lives. This transition should be encouraged, otherwise you are seeking a club of only the purist of the purists being welcomed, and your club will remain mighty small and you will remain just another minority forever.
