I'm laughing so hard that I'm gasping for air! How much did his campaign have to pay to get this advertisement article placed?

The only one who can halt Trump...is Trump.

Walker won’t have to stop Trump. Trump will do that on his own.

At this point, I’m guessing that in the end we’ll have 10 Candidates with 10% each of the vote and that they will draw high card for the nomination.

Walker isn’t a genuine leader, he’s a career politician who benefits from close relationships with Reince Preibus is all...he hasn’t won over the base because something about Walker is just not authentic and people notice it. Donald with his flaws is a real leader by contrast, self made and doesn’t need to sit on Harley’s for photo ops to appeal to average people. Walker had his high point already...he’s not catching fire like Trump or Cruz with the base.

I think the more important question is: "Can the GOP understand why Trump's message resonates with voters?" Until the GOP comes to grips with the answer, Hillary will likely be the bitch in charge.

“How much did his campaign have to pay to get this advertisement article placed?”

It’s called PPC (pay per click) journalism. You see this in a LOT of sports articles from Bleacher Report, isportsweb etc..you know, articles which make you click because it’s in a form of a question.

I know someone who works for a certain sports site who does this which includes the tag ‘rumors”. So let’s say you are a Dodgers fans, the headline of the bogus article will read “Are the Dodgers trading Greinke?” Obviously you love the team and you click on it, which of course isn’t true. That’s where the clicks come in and corresponds with Google Analytics.

It’s not an article. It’s an opinion column. Never heard of the Daily Caller or James Antle III? Just like all the pro-Trump stuff you post from Breitbart.

“Without making derogatory comments about immigrants”-—First, it’s ILLEGAL immigrants and second, “without taking a strong stand” is more like it.

I’m chortling. Walker’s announcement yesterday generated all the excitement of a flea circus. He’s a thinly disguised establishment candidate who has no intention of securing the border and will happily go along with amnesty. I see no way he rebounds and look for him to fade going forward.

Walker needs to focus on selling his own ideas and not on kneecapping Trump.

While Trump is loudly espousing what we all know about illegal immigration in no uncertain terms, he has nothing else going for him. If he pulls a Perot, I will never forgive him.

Scott Walker is a man of executive action and has turned his State around repeatedly. As much as I like Ted Cruz's Constitutional rhetoric/positions, I don't think he has the credentials or gravitas of Walker. Just hope Walker can articulate his positions well in the debates.

My ideal ticket: Walker/Cruz.

All others are just the usual noise for the GOPe with the possible exceptions of Carson, Fiorina, and Jindal.

Jeb Bush just needs to go away and move to his beloved Mexico. Really, what does he have going for him other than name recognition, pandering to illegals, and a somewhat colored governship in Florida?

Walker did a very good job in WI. His record will speak for itself.
Trump has the focus and is using alinsky tactics to his advantage. In short, Trump has learned to turn the tactics back on them and they dont like it.

Eventually, very soon, Trump will have to provide substance, and that is where the rubber will meet the road. I suspect that Trump has been advised of these things and whether he takes the advice will soon be seen.

"Can Scott Walker halt Donald Trump's rise?"

He won't need to and doesn't have the mindset of his opposition.

“Walker’s tentative embrace of a populist immigration position isn’t without political risks”

Oh really?

What risks does a candidate run who says he will enforce the laws?
