It was during Reagan’s 1980 campaign that Romney left the GOP (1979), eventually to become a democrat supporter, fund raiser, and even voter, and not returning to the GOP until October of 1993, as a very left, Planned Parenthood fundraising, gays in the military, and gay scout leaders, and anti-gun republican.

No kidding. Rove managed to turn what should have been two walk off wins into an extra inning afair and a late inning comeback.

I have been told that Rove’s expertise has always been getting the numbers. The problem with that is he knows what the say, but he doesn’t know what they mean.

In June, Romney said on Meet the Press that his biggest mistake in 2012 was not connecting minority voters with conservative policies, and he encouraged current candidates to prioritize reaching out to these populations....

This is a very dumb statement. Is Mitt telling the pubbies to promise free stuff to minorities? How else does one "reach out"? These people aren't qualified to run the remote for the TV.

Trump endorsed him, so Romney will probably endorse Trump, a fellow RINO.

It’s always best to make the guy who lost the last election, the one who decides who runs for the following election. Yeah, that’s the ticket. : )

It is dumb - and Romney is not a dumb guy. So it makes me wonder just what is his agenda. Also why bash the flag - actually not even the Confederate flag but a battle flag. Romney is creepy.

Mitt Romney's backing helped several candidates emerge from a crowded primary field and be successful in the 2014 midterm elections. He's aiming to do the same for presidential candidates in 2016.

Uh-uh. He gives Bush and Rubio a meal, but they were already doing pretty well in the polls (though it looks like Rubio's getting crowded out lately).

Romney couldn't, say, catapult Pataki or Jindal or Kasic or Graham or Michael Bickelmeyer into the top tier.

If you want to play the kingmaker right, you have to pick somebody who's already almost king already.
