I came to that conclusion when she was talking about Clinton’s failures as SOS.
She said she had gone on various trips with secretaries of state as one of the little people (Businessmen, analysts, logistics people) who sat down and hammered out the actual deals. Meanwhile Secretaries of state go to state dinners and photo ops.
She just strikes me as the kind of person I would choose for SOS.
She’s very sharp and articulate. I think she could eviscerate Hillary in any setting. She is right about her skills in dealing with foreign dignitaries and businesses. She could be a dynamite asset for the country, for sure.
In my opinion, the last thing we need for SOS is another female.
The most vital negotiations that the next SOS will be involved in will concern the Middle East. Every contemporary Foreign Minister/negotiator from this part of the world has, by definition, no respect for a woman.
They aren't going to take a woman SOS seriously -- even if their name is Clinton (or Albright or Rice).
That's a reality. And it needs to be recognized.
Our next SOS shouldn't be a woman...or a buffoon. It should be a man.
