The opening was there. He didn’t take it. The stakes were high but he was not willing to step up to the plate when it mattered. He had his chance and let us down. Weakness like that does not deserve a second chance.

Same in 2016: Jebbie very much wants the nomination, doesn't particularly care if he loses to his close friend Hillary.
