Without Jeb in the race, the campaign is all about Hillary and the Clinton machine's corruption. She'll spend most of the time fielding questions about the server, her fund raising, Clinton speeches for $$$ from hostile countries, the list is endless.
With Jeb, the GOP is stuck defending W's administration, and rehashing old arguments. It's Hillary's wet dream. She gets to watch the GOP tear itself apart and she skates to victory by default.

It almost goes without saying: Cruz is da man! As Mark Levin says, "Our favorite cable news channel barely mentions Cruz. They're in the tank for the Jebster"

OK, FREEPERS! I HAVE A SERIOUS QUESTION FOR ALL OF YOU.
First of all, I'm still a Cruz guy. However, I keep seeing Rubio held with the same disdain as there is for Jeb Bush and Fat Boy Christie. Those two I loathe. I think Rubio has made some changes to his "Immigration" Doctrine and I think he will work with Tea Partiers and Conservatives. I can understand you sitting out the Election if Bush or Christie is the nominee. I certainly hope that would not be the case if Rubio is the nominee. He's worth giving a chance. The other two can kiss my butt on both sides. So, please tell me; are some of you going to stay home or vote for Hillary if Rubio is the nominee?

Actually, no. I have never missed an election, local, state, primary or general since 1978. I always vote.
I have never voted Demoncrat, don’t think I’ll start now.
If Rubio is on the ticket, I’ll pick a third party (again) or write in Ted Cruz.
I’m never in favor of giving backstabbers more knives. Rubio hasn’t changed his mind on amnesty, he just thinks he needs to be more clever to fool the rubes.

9thLife -
"If/when he gets serious, he'll be a tidal wave. Sorry." More like a clogged toilet.
I hope he stays in. Let him try to suck up all that rino money away from the other approved establishment candidates. That should mean fewer dollars that can be used against patriots in the primaries.

“Question: Why would a party still recovering from its last unpopular president whose name and brand have been thoroughly denigrated during the last two presidential elections nominate a candidate with the same last name?”
Answer: Because the Uniparty wants Hillary to win.

BINGO!
He is the only way she can win.
Jebster is this cycle’s designated loser.
Just like Romney and McCain before him.

If/when he gets serious, he'll be a tidal wave. No, the only wave that he will resemble will be a flush.

Humpty Dumpty.
Charismatic as a wet noddle.
As brilliant as Banrey Oliver Fife.
As liberal as Hillary Clinton.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Release your major donors so the party can move ahead and fight the Clinton past, present and into the future with new names and faces. This is purely delusional. Bush is running solely to prevent a Republican from winning the election and especially to prevent a conservative from winning the nomination or the election.

Because he’s unelectable and would be as bad a president as his brother.

Ted Cruz is DA MAN !

me too. Given no difference might as well have the one labeled correctly.
I will never ever vote Jeb. Voted for him twice for governor, his brother and dad. Never ever another bush or tree or any vegetation.

“...a candidate with the same last name?”
Only half way through this piece, but I’ve got to quibble about this.
Jeb doesn’t “have the same last name” as GWB, he’s his brother. Saying a candidate with the same last name makes it sound like he’s from some other family, and just happens to be called Bush, a reasonably common name and that could happen I suppose. And in our land of LIVs it might be a bad idea to do that.
But, this is not that situation. Not only is he the brother of GWB he’s the son of GHWB. Now I think the Bushes are great americans, but not so great that we need to have 3 of them as president.
