The American Conservative Union released its congressional scorecard for 2014 today, providing instant fodder for Republican primary contests — and some head-scratching for Florida Democrats.
Of the three Republican senators running for president, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz retains conservative bragging rights with a 100 percent score for 2014 and 100 percent lifetime score. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul aren’t too far behind however. Both got 96 percent ratings for 2014 and have lifetime conservative scores of 98 percent....

Obviously there is a serious problem with their rating system. Seriously. “Edges” Is that on a galactic scale where 100,000 light years is a small distance?
This is the reason why these groups opinions and proclamations lack any cred at all anymore.

HTF does someone that was a Gang of 8 instigator with open borders lust garner a conservative rating at all much less 90%+? How does a guy that spent WEEKS shilling for Democrats and their positions a conservative?
I mean those things happened. They aren’t imaginary.
Cruz is the real deal and has my absolute support. Walker is at least mostly conservative. I think he’s acceptable, although that’s partly just because the left hates him so much. Rubio and Paul are both pro-Amnesty and completely unacceptable.
I am somewhat flexible on many issues, but Obama has piled up a whole bunch of existential threats where they can do the most damage of our country. We have reached a point where any further weakening of border control, such as Amnesty, could destroy our country completely. Similarly, protecting the Second Amendment and repealing Obamacare are absolute requirements. Anyone who is not clearly willing to meet my standards on those three issues will not have my support or my vote.

ACU has gone increasingly Chamber of Commerce, crony capitalism and open borders in recent years. Grover Norquist and Carly Fiorina are directors.
I’m shocked the would rate Cruz so highly.
I was so impressed with Cruz when the liberal reporter tried to have him speak some Spanish and he declined.

He’s the REAL DEAL and our only savior.
Very classy the way he handled that light weight. He could have destroyed the guy but he exercised meekness.
