The easiest method from national interest would be the one which will cost the least. So....begin by simply passing a law which makes it illegal to hire illegal immigrants. It will require no ICE agents going from factory to factory -or- office to office. Most employers will make good effort to weed out illegals.
AS an added incentive for enforcement, include in the law stiff fines for violations. First violation $25k fine, 2nd $50k fine, 3rd $100k fine. More than 3 violation should stipulate mandatory jail sentence to CEO.
What this country really needs is a national ID card. Every one in my family has a passport, which were easy to obtain with simple proof of citizenship. So the ID card should not be a big deal.
Even banana republics like Honduras have national ID cards.
Everyone in Honduras is required to vote in the precinct which is indicated on their government issued (free) photo ID card. Every citizen over 18 is required to have an national ID. Obviously it is very easy for employers in Honduras to find out if you are legal or illegal immigrant.
I agree, that having too many candidates on stage becomes a circus. Only the top 10 in national polls should be initially in debates.
Every subsequent debate should have 1 less candidate based on polls or primary results.
FYI.
” I rather think Walker may be the fallback Chamber of Commerce candidate.”
I’m with you. Why is Walker holding meetings with the CoC in multiple states ?
Meetings are ....
1) closed to the public
2) closed to the media
This reminds me of Obama holding private WH meetings with the Muslim Brotherhood
Walker is pulling the ol John McCain, moving to the right on amnesty before the election.
Yep. WE have Tyson here in TN and everyone knows they hire illegals and we do NOTHING to stop it. But, while that is one way to start working on the problem, it wouldn’t solve the problem.
Thank you for your answer by the way. It is a good start.
What 'contest' would that be?
It surely isn't the presidential primary... p>These people have keeping a straight face down pat. They're laughable...
What is this FOX you refer to? ;)
