I think Cruz is driving people nuts. Charles Cook of National Review has a bad beard, and is jealous of Cruz’s ability to think on his feet.
I read the headline and expected to read about “conservatives” attacking Cruz, but all I found were moderates and liberals.
Cruz answered this charge on today's Laura Ingrahm Show...
Before Cruz was in the Senate, he wasn't a community organizer like Obama.
He is was Solicitor General for the state of Texas, the chief lawyer for the state of Texas in front of the US Supreme Court, supervised and led every appeal for the State of Texas in a 4,000 person agency with over 700 lawyers.
And over and over again fought and won some of the biggest conservative fights in the country.
Whether it was:
defending the 10 Commandments on monuments on the state capital grounds - won 5-4 at the US Supreme Court,
defending the Pledge of Allegiance - won unanimously,
2nd Amendment to keep and bear arms - won 5-4.
Standing up to the UN and World Court and defending US soverienty - won 6-3.
And so unlike Obama, Cruz has a proven record for over a decade for standing up and defending conservative principles over and over again. And winning over and over again.
IN BY 5 SECONDS (you, not me)
Cruz is fast on his feet and has the advantage of being several steps ahead in his thinking.
Yesterday on Cavuto, big money donor Foster Friess couldn’t say enough good about Ted Cruz. He won’t commit any money right now partly because he’s pouring millions into the Iraqi Kurds and Yzidis but I think he will depending on how well Cruz does in the next month or so.
I’m beginning to believe maybe Cruz could walk away with this thing.
I think Solicitor General counts as a public administrative position if that makes a difference, but Rush’s point is about basic values. Cruz has them, and the other guy does not.

I like the way you think. From your lips to Gods’ ear.
He will if we don’t sit back and wait for him to win. We’ve got to march with him in any way we can.
How often do you hear a Republican tell a MSM host “I Don’t Accept Your Premise.” & sets them straight?
The rinos hated Ronald Reagan too..
I’ve re-registered R, so I can vote for Cruz in the primaries. If he is the ultimate nominee, I’ll vote for him in the general (against every fiber of my being and better judgement), but I will NOT vote for any other GOP candidate for National office. If Cruz is NOT the GOP nominee, well, no GOP candidate will get my vote.
Great litigators (and communicators) have the ability to make the complex simple. Cruz is no exception. That is what the Dems and e fear most about Cruz. That once he hits the stump he will make the case to the American people in clear terms that they can understand. Once that happens it is game over.
I watched Cavuto interview Romeny this afternoon. Cavuto asked him what he thought about Cruz and he responded with Blah, blah, blah, then said Rubio has more experience, blah, blah. He then proceeded to say he was remaining aggressively neutral.....however, on two separate occasions he named, Rubio, Graham, Bush, Kasich, Christie as all viable candidates and one would be the nominee. Absolutely DID NOT MENTION CRUZ, even though he is the only candidate that has announced.
Krauthammer is confused. Instead of asking what has Cruz done, he should be asking why aren’t more Republican senators doing more to help Cruz. That’s the problem Kraut old boy, there aren’t enough senators like Cruz.
