Some fools are so stupid that they think they're in on the joke when they are treated like fools.
Some fictional characters in a Mark Twain book said this when there was a question of them pulling off a scam on a Mississippi River community: “We have all the fools in town on our side, don’t we? And isn’t that a big enough majority in any town?”
Seems to me, in regard to the democRAT party, that observation fits the current American electorate like an Armani suit.
