Well, who is the strongest Democrat in the south? Mitch McConnel or Linda Grahmnesty?
Annise Parker, mayor of Houston (far left liberal but Texas Democrats like her). Julian Castro, former mayor of San Antonio is another Texas-Democrat favorite. Joaquin Castro, another Texas guy who has seen positive numbers throughout the state.
Beyond that....you can’t find any real known Democrats out of Miss, Ala, Georgia, Florida, SC, NC....who have the potential to take primary seat.
This is a race where Hillary has no four-star competition unless she declines. Either of the Castro guys out of Texas could easily be a 2020 candidate and I think that’s a more interesting race than 2016 (guaranteed win for Bush or Walker).
