The Democrats' long-term strategy is to blame the continuing Depression on The Republicans, naturally. The smart money says the real SHTF fan scenario hits in 2018-19. So by coming up with this loser ticket for 2016, the Democrats get to pass the hot potato to ...guess who? They'll take back Congress at the half, and we're off to the races again. Democrats re-solidify their base with the Amish, and the 27 million new Mexicans, taking Congress and the WH in 2020. The new Amerika remains under Democrat Party Iron Rule for the next 150 years.
Schedule of Unforseen Events:
Incredible as it may seem, Republicans could lose in 2016. They just might come up with their usual stellar candidates: something like Dole-McAnus, W's brother, or that weird Mormon Milquetoast guy who says he ain't running. In that case, Joey Plugs is scheduled to shuffle off the mortal coil right after Inauguration Day anyway (Infected Hair Transplant Plugs), leaving Michelle Robinson as POTUS. (*You remember her, she used to be married to some gay guy from Africa and is Jesse Jackson's cousin?) She will appoint Hillary as the new VP.

Lots of things are going to happen but this isn’t one of them. Hillary will pick someone she likes—not anyone linked to Obama. I don’t think she will run—like Trump, she will back out at the last moment. Next Democrat will be a white, old, liberal dude, maybe a Senator—maybe Kerry, maybe Richardson. They may well pick a woman or a black for VP but its going to be Old School Democrats—People have had enough of Progressives.
She needs a VP that makers her look smart.
