Mrs. Collins is one of the main columnists at the New York Times and has been since 1995. She was the first woman editorial page editor there, from 2001 to 2007.

First you learn that the D.A. in question had been arrested in a rather spectacular drunken-driving case, and you tilt a little toward Perry. Then you discover that two other county D.A.s were charged with drunken driving during the Perry administration without attracting the wrath of the governor. The drunken Travis County DA in question had jurisdiction over all elected officials in the state and had a state-funded public corruption budget for this purpose. The other DAs had no relationship nor responsibility to the state.
Boy, this Collins babe doesn't have any knowledge of what she writes about, does she?

Oh really, thank you. So she has the confidence of someone who made history by breaking a gender based barrier. Well, good for her, but I get the feeling she would never consider voting for either Perry or Cruz anyway.
