Wow, that's like an airport. I had have had jury duty quite a few times over the past few years and never had to do that. Just walked in and sat down in the courtroom.

I was called for jury duty about 8 months ago, I had to empty my pockets, take off my beld, and go through a metal detedtor, didn't have to take off my shoes.

I never made the jury, the prosecutor was a friend.

Don’t know if all do.
