If they used their time here wisely, learned English, and learned a needed skill, that should give them an advantage, shouldn’t it?

Are you in the habit of hiring ex-cons at your bank over people with a clean record ???
Then why would you give an “advantage” to illegal aliens over REAL immigrants who do qualify to enter our country ???
Criminals are entitled to an “advantage” ???
This would be directed at me!
However, there is a significant portion of the GOP who find Cruzs approach too divisive, needlessly alienating independents and moderates in the general election.
IIRC, this is close to what they said about Ronald Reagan. The "Bush" Republicans didn't like him! How big was that win again??
Well, I concur, except the first woman president should come from the conservatives.
Christie is a tiny bit more conservative than Perry on immigration.
He only gave the Dreamer thugs in-state-tuition.
Perry gave them financial aid.
Christie also asked rhetorically about how can they be 2nd class citizens when they are not citizens. Also mentioned they are getting more freebies than many others in society.
Christie also equals Perry in his loudmouth rhetoric while being a closet RINO.
Until Rush Limbaugh mentioned it recently, most GOP primary voters thought Romney was still supporting self deportation which is an act of love for workers.
Bush supports any amnesty bill regardless. First he pushed his legal status idea and then went with any immigration bill Rubio and Schumer could get to Obama.
It's an act of love.
A SEVERELY CONSERVATIVE LIBERAL!!!
I recall reading on another thread, many moons ago, that the brand of Islam Rick Perry allowed into the classroom was one that was relatively benign and perhaps even supportive of the US. I definitely understand the concern, however. It IS Islam.
Then again, if he’s speaking at La Raza, he is obviously not a good candidate for Prez.
President Foxs vision for an open border is a vision I embrace, as long as we demonstrate the will to address the obstacles to it. ~Rick Perry
Question: "But just to be clear: if border security is accomplished, you can envision some sort of path to citizenship for people who are here illegally?"
And Perry's response?
"Sure."
Walker is my #1 pick. Which is why I think he’ll be in last place for the nomination!
