My guess - at least 60% of them voted AGAINST Cruz.

That beats the 75% that vote against Romney.

Things have a way of panning out differently in Presidential elections. Once Cruz is backed into a corner and forced to defend his position on immigration, he can expect to lose a lot of voters that might have otherwise voted for him based on his last name alone. How many lost votes that will be remains the million dollar question of course.

73% voted against Romney.

75% voted against George H.W. Bush in 1992, even though he vigorously supported the Reagan Amnesty in 1986.

No GOP presidential candidate has ever received more than 40% of the Hispanic vote, not even George W. Bush or John McCain, who sponsored the Bush-McCain Amnesty in 2006.

The author claimed Cruz is a Latino presidential favorite, which is absurd.
