I'm still a bit perplexed about Land's loss yesterday. I can't comprehend her only getting 41% of the vote. This year of all years: the woman was capable, had a track record of success, and our state puts another totalitarian leftist in the senate instead.

Strange. Very strange.

The party threw her overboard.

Think about it. Taking the power of infrastructure funding away from the senate and returning it to the states was a major issue for her and that goes right to the heart of the entire senate power brokerage industry.

I had a few conversations with the SE district GOP communications director. She told me that no money to hire staff and no money to make ads or get the message out just couldn’t compete with the Peters college student brigades. She also hinted that Peters threatening TV station licenses had put a real chill into the air.
