Julian Castro had horrible approval ratings before he left San Antonio. He couldn’t even be elected mayor of San Antonio again.
His ratings were probably even lower than Obama’s approval ratings. I guess Obama wanted to bring in someone that was thought of less than himself.

She’s going after the Latino vote. That would scare me at one time but.... #1. Most Latinos will vote Democrat anyhow. (If the GOP wanted to “counter” that, they could nominate Ted Cruz for President or Susan Martinez, Governor of New Mexico, for the VEEP spot.) and #2. I, sincerely, think this nation is fatigued with the names Clinton and Obama...... I think America is ready for a fresh face.
