Had to get the obligatory Sarah Palin insult in there. And notice not one mention of Ted Cruz?

Democrats are ecstatic about “supporting” Romney for Republican candidate. They’re the ones probably talking it up.

Willard spent a billion dollars and all he had to show for it was flipping IN and NC from Blue to Red. A card board cut out labelled as GOP POTUS candidate would of flipped those two states two. Go away and enjoy your mansion in La Jolla.

Why all of the speculation when he has repeatedly stated he isn’t running?

President Mitt Romney? It would be better than President Clinton or President Fauxahonsets (Liz Warren), but it would be worse than President Ted Cruz or President Scott Walker.

Good call.

You're right, of course. Cruz is Romney's sole Republican party contender.

Cruz has stated that he wants to see Obamacare tossed, rescinded, junked. I will only vote for that, regardless of party.

Romney's track record demonstrates his total on-boardness with Obamacare, to put it lightly. I REFUSE TO VOTE FOR THAT, and I don't care what boogey-man Democrat liberal alternatives Republicans shake at me claiming that by voting for their leftist, I'm voting "against" those other worse leftists, because that is a loser's game. Always has been, always will be, and a lot more Americans know it than people think.

Either Cruz or someone like him gets the Republican nomination in which very few Americans, let alone conservative Americans, have a real voice ... OR ... 2016's presidential race will be a replay of 2012 in essentials, and Americans will be fed up.

It is becoming more and more apparent that liberals are the minority in America, but their powerful political representatives, leftists like Cochran in Mississippi, Republican, and Romney, with his shady plays in manipulating the primaries last time around, are in office because they only have the support of a minority. They have to cheat and play dirty pool.

Disenfranchised Americans are fed up because a minority has seized control of what used to be a servant, but which this liberal minority is morphing into a dangerous master. Americans want to vote for turning it back into a servant, but they have no candidate, and THEY KNOW IT.

Romney had a chance.

Romney was our nominee last time.

Last time I actually supported him, because Palin chose not to run.

I do not support Mitt now. Mitt will not win.

Sit down Mitt.

Of course the guy had to zing Governor Palin. Libs love to tell us how inconsequential she is because of the money they get off the resulting website hits.

IMO, money is also the reason Romney remains attractive to the Establishment. His network of high volume donors makes him a fundraising dynamo. Which results in overflowing coffers for the Party.

It always about the Benjamins.

The high donor class is obsessed with Mitt. They think he is out of central casting to be president. The problem is that he’s a weak candidate because people do not trust him. The donor class does not understand or accept that. Because Mitt was “right” about what he said against Obama, they think he can no win. No he can’t. He proved that twice.

Look at RCP polls on the GOP nomination, and you’ll see the conservative vote currently being divided among several potential candidates. Otherwise, Jeb Bush and Chris Christie wouldn’t look nearly as strong.

If divided the poll results between moderates and conservatives as a group, you would see that those on more to the right, collectively, are getting about 60% of the vote. Based on that, once the field narrows, I can not imagine someone like Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, or Mitt Romney getting the nomination this time.

The rumor that the GOP it’s grand old self will become extinct is even more persistent, and more popular as well! :-)
