John Boehner can push it through in a lame duck session after the November elections.

There have been persistent reports that Boehner will not run for Speaker when the vote occurs in January next year.

That could mean he intends to do the dirty work the big money interests that support him want right before Christmas with “immigration reform”.

Boehner’s career as Speaker will end since any Republican voting for him as Speaker after that will be a pariah. Boehner will fall on his sword and leave the Speaker’s post, maybe even Congress with a resignation.

The next fake conservative from the GOPe in line will take over as his replacement.

There was some stiff resistance in his last run for Speaker, so I would not be surprised. It feels like he's in somebody's pocket, not just Obama's, so I have no doubt that you are correct, and Boehner will use the lame duck session to push it through.

Big Business and the Democrats will quietly reward those Republicans who push amnesty through.

That is what I am afraid of, The dem’s do not need a lot of Repubs to vote for amnesty. They just need “bonehead” to bring it to the floor, and I bet he does. I wonder of the Republican Party will support Brat in the general election
