Loyalty is stupid when it brings you down.
Loyalty is even stupider when you don’t really even have to comment at all. And when you DO get put on the spot, the ol’ “I don’t know enough about his sound bite to give you mine”, comes in handy. It’s time for her to break that out.
In the McLame/Hayworth primary, she could easily have simply said, “Well, I’m gonna just let this play out, rather than run the risk of weakening the winning candidate in the General Election.”’
Thing is, by now, she doesn’t owe that bastard any more than he seems to think he owes the conservative cause. It’s time she learns which people merit her support, and which ones don’t.
I love my precious Sarah, and always will; but these are caveats I would express to her, or anyone else.
