That is called Situational Ethics. Situational Ethics are only used by liars, crooks and oily politicians. I have no idea if Bob McDonnell is guilty of any of the charges but if so, he needs to go to jail not to the Senate. We have way way too may crooks in Washington now. This nation needs honest leaders not more of the same old same old.

I believe you are replying to me and no I do not believe in situational ethics for anyone. I was simply pointing out that the RNC in VA appears to be in somebody’s crosshairs. I don’t know McDonnell’s deal either I was merely pointing out recent “coincidences” with politicians who may have been former challenges to a certain carpet bagger who used to live in Ark.

I agree with you. “He is a crook, but he’s our crook” and “there are worse crooks out there” doesn’t fly with me. If he and his wife are guilty of being greedy bribe takers and shakedown artists they should be convicted and penalized.
