The Tea Party is made up of the only Americans left.
This is why I am very pessimistic for the survival of America as we knew it.
There will need to be a revolution but not necessarily one with physical armies like 1776.
It will need to be a gospel revolution.
Except for some sparks of life here and there, Christian faith in America has gotten weak and disheveled. The tribulation of a nice life of idols proved to be too much for those who had historically held this faith.
And this is how God does house cleaning. By letting evil, and that includes weakness and misdirection of faith, frustrate itself and its practitioners perish or become poor. Then God steps up with a message of divine salvation and it will generally be accepted, unless the situation is as far gone as a Sodom. Which in spite of long unprecedented rampancy of homosexuality in America today, hasn’t come close to happening yet (remember, an entire town sought to gang bang Lot’s angelic guests). (The “gay” crisis today is, I believe, a judgment on the widespread, if not absolutely universal, preaching and teaching of a weak gospel that is not up to helping these people out of their evil practices.)
Anyhow. I’ve gotten grief from a lot of people who say resurgence of faith is impossible. I say they are nuts and the Father seconds it. But it will need to be from new missions here. Most of the old churches are not, at least yet, up to the task.
Who voted with the Democrats for a couple billion for a hydro project again?
