GOP ran the Two Mavericks ticket to clean up DC back then. Of course, the phony one shine the spotlight on SP just to drag her down. A big IF, if McCain had won, the muzzle would be just as tight if not adding a straight jacket onto his VP.

Originally I was thankful for McCain for picking SP, now I think SP would have burst onto the national stage all by herself. It is McCain who OWES/OWED SP big time, not the other way around.
