U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio understood he was taking considerable risk by putting his name on the immigration reform bill currently being crafted by the so-called Gang of Eight.
He expected to alienate some conservatives, but did he anticipate Sarah Palin to be among them?
The former Republican governor of Alaska took to Twitter on Sunday to call Rubio out for his flip-flop on immigration reform.

As noted by Twitchy, Palins tweet links to a story from TownHall.com detailing Rubios flip-flop over amnesty for illegal immigrants, based on comments see video below he made while campaigning for his current seat:
"During a debate with opponents Rep. Kendrick Meek and Gov. Charlie Crist, candidate Rubio argued that giving illegal immigrants an earned path to citizenship, which Crist, Sen. John McCain and former President George W. Bush had advocated, is basically amnesty.
Rubio, who won that 2010 election, is now the leading Republican in the U.S. Congress pushing for illegal aliens to be given the earned path to citizenship that he himself insisted was code for amnesty only three years ago."(continued)

“In Your Face, America!” -Rubio’s New Campaign Slogan.
She’s the only one that I will vote for in 2016!
Rubio, oh Rubio...
Wherefore fart thou, Rubio?
She’s still incredible. RAWR.
There are extremely few possible GOP contenders for 2016 that would give me strong hope for American renewal after these dark years. Sarah is first and foremost on such a very short list. I could see her election serving as a much-needed realignment, and watching the shell-shocked Dems get reamed after so arrogantly prancing around, singing about demographic inevitability would be delectable.
Sarah’s still got it!
Rubio? Not so much.
What a disappointment.
Who is this Rubio you speak of?
Heh...
;-)
BTTT
Adios, Mofo!
Got a new one for you. Not sure if this has been posted yet.
It’s up.

This immigration bill is 1200 pages and, according to Senator Ted Cruz, it has a thousand waivers for border security. I doubt that Senator Rubio has read this monster of a bill. In it he would also find that this bill creates defacto affirmative action for those who are here illegally. That is because illegal immigrants, when they get this RPI status, are exempted from Obamacare. So, if you are a businessman, you know it costs about $5000 more to hire a U.S. citizen than it does to hire someone who is here illegally.
I wonder what Senator Rubio got out of this deal to buy his vote. Senators Harry Reid and Dean Heller got their casino kickback, Bernie Sanders got $1.5 billion for youth employment that includes transportation and daycare and Alaska Sens. Mark Begich (Democrat) and Lisa Murkowski (Republican)got special rules allowing fish processing industries to hire low-skilled illegal immigrants to fill “temporary” jobs. What did Senator Rubio get?
As a Christian, I’m not supposed to hate these traitors. I *loathe* these traitors. God bless Sarah for calling out the slimiest of them all, Marco Rubio. Bob
More like “Viva Fidel!” Bob
Most of those same “brand-new Democrats” will also qualify for TJTC, saving those employers another $2,400.
Thinking about this, rubio dishonors his parents by doing this. THEY did not sneak in and wait around for some crooked pol to give them amnesty. They WANTED to become citizens and they did everything they needed to do to get there.
Right now they may think he’s doing the right thing, but in their heart of hearts, they know better.
I wonder what Senator Rubio got out of this deal to buy his vote.Only Rove and or Soros know for sure.
