Conservatives refused to vote for Romney, because he was and is a well known RINO and we all know how RINOs are viewed here on Free Republic. So, what we got was another 4 years of Obama who is decidedly NOT a RINO. Conservatives clearly decided that Barack was the better option.
Your description shows that you don’t understand conservatism, plus that you will lie “Conservatives clearly decided that Barack was the better option”.
It is evidently possible for Christians and moral people and conservatives to be confronted with a candidate or agenda that they cannot actively join with, so they are forced to not vote for him, but to avoid voting for that office, or vote for a third party candidate, or do a write in.
