I sent Toomey an email this morning, and I didn’t hold anything back. Since it was composed and sent to him within the confines of the form on his website I don’t have a copy of it, or remember what I said verbatim, but this will be close enough for everyday conversation. It’s a copy of what I told a friend in an email a few minutes ago.

“I sent Toomey an email this morning telling him he’s a political whore who sold out his constituents for the lowlife reason that he wanted to be on the A-List for cocktail parties with the treasonous ‘Rat Party! Did you know that the Manchin-Toomey sellout bill was concocted on Manchin’s yacht “Black Tie” on the Potomac during a cocktail party?

(As I see it, Manchin and some other ‘rats got Toomey a little tipsy, blew some smoke up his butt about what a great legislator he is, and that a monument of him astride a rearing charger will be placed in the capitol rotunda, and then rolled him)!

I also told him that behind his back, the very ‘rats who he THINKS are his friends, are laughing at him for the political slut he’s proved himself to be. I told him that in his willingness to drop his shorts and grab his ankles he reminds me of the gal in the musical “Oklahoma” who wails, “I’m just a girl who cain’t say no,” so he’ll never get my vote again. And that the only difference between him and Arlen Specter is the spelling of their names.”

But, facing reality, one thing these cretans have that makes us constituents powerless is the fact that after just one term they are entitled to a full salary pension when they retire; and full medical, etc., which they might have all their life, and don’t need to wait until retirement. So we can bluster and threaten to never vote for them again, and they flip the bird at us and go on their merry way.

FERS doesn't have a 'full salary' option ~ not for employees, nor for the Senate, nor House.

With 6 years in federal service the Senator can, at most, hope for 6% of his high 3, which is going to be about $10,000 per annum ~

The US federal government does retirement different than the states and municipalities around the country.
