I hope FReepers aren’t in love with Rubio any more.
Hmmm. I wonder why.
Amnesty of any kind is intolerable. Don’t even believe the “compromise” I remember being pulled during the election, wherein it was promised that they would be “allowed” in the country receiving some kind of documentation, but not citizenship. Once you give the illegals any kind of legitimacy, it’ll be impossible to stop them from getting citizenship.
The last thing you want is a legion of people with no respect for American laws getting the right to vote. It’s basically one giant group of voters who will be more than vulnerable to socialist agitators. Once they’re in, we lose the country and the political war. We’ll have a new Obama in office every 4 years.
The GOP and “conservatives” who support any kind of amnesty are basically asking for the death of the country.
I’m a little lost. They want him to leave the gang of 8 because they agree or disagree with him?
Well I guess they want him to leave because they agree the border should be secured first. Why aren’t conservatives destroying the libs arguments about amnesty vs securing the border? Seems like a slam dunk based on the last time we tried amnesty with a promise to secure the border later.
Personally, I think this tool should resign from the senate, and I voted for him.
The only thing that you have showed me, Mr. Rubio, is that you are a menace to my country and my freedom, like almost every other republican.
I am done with you and them.
I’d really like Rubio to be exposed for the lying little weasel that he is.
Deport Rubio
No one claiming to be conservative can any longer support LA Raza Rubio

Obama was slick in getting Rubio to serve on the gang of 8. First of all, it taints him for the 2016 presidential primaries, and this would probably take him out, as people would remember how he “lied” to them, making it difficult for him to get traction, get a winning campaign on track.
But I have not been as keen on Rubio as many have been. He has OFTEN rushed to the platform to condemn this or that or make spontaneous remarks to a reporter before taking the time to think things through. He appears, because of that, to not really be solid on issues, and therefore be “flexible”. I’d have to say that I cannot with any certainty state what he truly believes, as you can with Ted Cruz. Huge difference!
