Seems like it would be better to get Dems on record with anti-gun votes, especially in red leaning states.

I think this calls more attention to the vote- red state Dems have to vote 3 times for the bill: cloture on the motion to proceed, cloture to end debate, and on the bill itself.

Plus it gets more media coverage.
