i don’t have slaves’either but that doesn’t stop me from being against slavery.

i don’t have a uterus but that doesn’t relieve me of the obligation to stand up for what i believe is morally right.

whether you would do something or not is immaterial. one always has a duty to stand up for what they believe is morally right. we are all moral agents with a conscience and every right to promote and encourae what we believe to be true and correct.

the other side never stops but somehow they say we must.

if kernan is hetero then he shouldn’t be able to voice his “pro” opinion either, since he wouldn’t be marrying another guy either.

There you go again, Secret Agent Man: advocating moral behavior in post-constitutional, post-moral America. Santa Claus and his special little elf buddies are not going to be amused!

In full seriousness: leftist extremists feel insulted by the very idea of moral rightness. As far as they're concerned, morality is a very old-fashioned, unscientific concept, and anyway, only the state can make highest level decisions.
