President Obama and Republican senators had a “good exchange of ideas” this evening during their roughly two-hour-long dinner at the posh Jefferson Hotel, just blocks from the White House, according to a senior administration official.
Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., gave the meeting a thumbs up as he exited the hotel, saying it was “just fine,” “great” and “wonderful.”
McCain told reporters gathered across the street that it was a “very enjoyable evening,” but declined to discuss specifics.
Obama invited 12 GOP senators to break bread as part of a larger effort to jump start budget negotiations and try to cut a deal with rank-and-file Republicans.
“The president greatly enjoyed the dinner,” the administration official said.
But did they make any progress?
“We’ll see,” Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., told reporters....

They can't even agree on who paid the bill, a fact which shouldn't be too hard to establish.
However, in my experience, a guy from North Dakota is far more likely to be telling the truth than a former street thug from Chicago.

If there was one legitimate conservative in this bunch they would of secretly recorded this event. Because you just know that no matter what the ‘one’ promised or said he will lie about it later.

My guess is everyone paid for their own food, and oboma simply scrounged his. oboma has never used his "own money" for anything, because he doesn't have any of his "own money." He's sucked off the public teat all his life - and he's still doing it.
If oboma paid - he did it with our stolen cash. (Gee, what a great guy - not! How much did it cost us this time?)

Such a stark contrast on display for all to see yesterday... McCain/Graham versus Paul/Cruz. Two different parties for all intents and purposes.
He sure didn’t deserve his running mate.
Palin, Paul, Cruz, Walker, Brewer and that sort should form the Tea Party and let the GOP go the way of the Whigs.
