Sarah Palin Says Feds Are Stockpiling Bullets For Civil Unrest
Market Daily News ^ | February 28, 2013 | Paul Joseph Watson

Former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin has warned that the federal government is “stockpiling bullets” in preparation for “civil unrest,” adding that America is “finished” if it cannot deal with its debt problem.

Writing on her official Facebook page, Palin remarked, “If we are going to wet our proverbial pants over 0.3% in annual spending cuts when we’re running up trillion dollar annual deficits, then we’re done. Put a fork in us. We’re finished. We’re going to default eventually and that’s why the feds are stockpiling bullets in case of civil unrest.”

The post achieved nearly 12,000 ‘shares,’ attracting nearly 60,000 ‘likes’ and over 4500 comments.

The Department of Homeland Security has committed to purchasing around 2 billion bullets over the course of the last year, in addition to buying 7,000 fully automatic assault rifles last September (the agency referred to them as “personal defense weapons”).

Although the mainstream media has played down the purchases as the feds merely saving money by buying in bulk, the ammo buys have contributed to shortages across the country.

However, concerns were further stoked last week when Law Enforcement Targets Inc, a DHS contractor that supplies shooting targets to the agency along with thousands of police departments, was forced to apologize for producing “non-traditional threat” targets which featured images of pregnant women, children and elderly gun owners in residential settings.

Politico published an article following Palin’s Facebook post bizarrely claiming that her concerns about the federal government purchasing ammo in large quantities had been debunked despite admitting that “government agencies are, in fact, purchasing large amounts of ammunition.” This tactic of admitting that the government is purchasing a huge number of bullets while simultaneously portraying anyone concerned about the fact as erroneous and paranoid has been adopted by other mainstream media outlets....

I said nothing about Civil War II. I merely questioned the motives of government agencies that seem to be buying inordinately high quantities of hollow-point ammunition. So how about you jump back from your conclusion zone, ok?

www.OathKeepers.org - I think it's obvious that something extremely serious is happening. The large mainstream TEA party movement has been blatantly mentioned on more than one occasion as a future enemy even though we have no history of violence. As a whole the TEA party movement is a very loosely based group of different types of Conservatives and Libertarians who often disagree on several important issues, but who also share a very principled belief in the basic fundamentals of our Constitution; That belief that we alone share is why they are taking steps to aggressively destroy the entire movement.

We have a peaceful history, but they know it will be those of us who believe in the Constitution who could possibly resist the tyrants in our government and media. They have proudly taken their titles as tyrants, and their hatred of everything that was good about this nation drives them to murder us, by creating chaos and death as a false pretense to get rid of political opponents.

The TEA party has a widespread reach, and many have never been to any kind of TEA party rally, but they have always identified with the movement, and they will fight tooth and nail to save what they can.

We have always known what Obama was, and we need to ask of ourselves what we are willing to sacrifice. We should prepare for the worst scenario, but hope for the best. In The time we have left we should prepare ourselves the best we possibly can at all levels. We have no excuses for regret, and must reach our full potential. Never underestimate yourself.

I discovered The Oath Keepers movement from an article that talked about how they were putting up a billboard outside of fort Leavenworth in Kansas because of a small wars journal where a Cornell Benson used the TEA party as a future enemy of the US military. You can see the Billboards already up, and donate directly to the expanded general Oath Keepers Billboard Campaign that plans to put billboards outside of every military base. They are getting ready to put up several more. You can also read what Benson said on the Oath Keepers website.

The Oath Keepers are made up of former/active duty military and law enforcement members.

I have a lot faith in the Oath Keepers. I would appreciate it if everyone who isn't already familiar with them, would take a good look at their website whenever possible, to see what you think about them. Thanks.

By reading some of these posts about Palins comment I have to believe that y’all drank some of the Barry Hussein Soeotoro cool-aid. The best thing that could happen to our Country would be Sarah Palin as POTUS, she would clean up the Demorats and the Republicans.

So who in Homeland is going to fire on civilians Sarah? Who in our government are you calling potential Nazis?

Whoever is ordered to do so, like the ATF thugs have done in the past. Target those WHO GIVE THE ORDERS first, as soon as the confiscations start. Prepare by finding out and publishing (as the leftwing newsrag did with legal gun owners) their names, addresses, workplaces, how they travel, how best to catch them alone (preclude collateral damage whenever possible), etc.

Let us not forget in 1932 President Hoover ordering the National Guard to fire on a Veteran encampment. It was his way of trying to get rid of it resulting a few death. Yes it can happen again especially those who support Obama.

“She’s right...as always.”

Well I wouldn’t go that far. I’m not going to vote for Juan drones over America McShamnesty but it does appear she has had an epiphany as far as the ammo issue is concerned.

I’m not defending anyone just telling the facts. Not only do I work for DHS but I’m a Firearms instructor for the Border Patrol so I know what gets used for practice and how much. I’m less concerned about bullets and more concerned about the infrastructure and people Obama and his minions are putting in place.

LOL, you truly are a libtard with a response like that. Can you not grasp the inconsistencies with the basic set of facts provided?

"it doesn't take a political genius to figure this stuff out"

But it does take a very brave and influential woman to stand up publicly and call the Feds out.

I have untrammeled respect for her.

LOL! Have you ever been to the range? EVER even touched a gun? Full metal jacketed bullets are less expensive, and everyone I know uses them for practice, even the law-enforcement people I know. (Most LEOs don't practice as much as I do.)

You, sir or madam, are a troll.

The discussion doesn’t need to be about the details of an unknown future, it is enough to recognize the level of federal preparedness in regards to domestic tranquility.

1971, it was in all the newspapers and I was there, mass arrests on a scale never seen in America.

13,000 people arrested and held in holding camps, jails, and other facilities, mostly without charges, thousands held for days without food, without beds or bedding, being interviewed and culled by the FBI one by one as the offer of release in exchange for a full submission of personal data was offered by the federal government, has this been washed from American history?

“10,000 Federal troops were quickly moved to various locations in the Washington, D.C. area. At one point, so many soldiers and marines were being moved into the area from bases along the East Coast that troop transports were landing at the rate of one every three minutes at Andrews Air Force Base in suburban Maryland, about 15 miles from the White House. Among these troops were 4,000 paratroopers from the U.S. 82nd Airborne Division These troops were to back up the 5,100 D.C. Metropolitan Police, 2,000 D.C. National Guard and Nixon’s internal security forces[who?]that were already in place. Every monument, park and traffic circle in the nations capital had troops protecting its perimeters. Paratroopers and marines deployed via helicopter to the grounds of the Washington Monument.”

And let us not also forget that two of the young commanders leading the troops who fired on the bonus army were none other than Dwight D. Eisenhower and Douglas MacArthur….

If they could do it, anyone can….

Good grief! I don't even know why I'm responding to such an idiotic post. Maybe I feel sorry for you. Do you work for DHS? Did you even bother to do any research? No you don't work for DHS and you didn't do the slightest bit of research. That's why you have no clue about what you are talking about. The biggest problem I think I have with this jigazillion bullet issue is that so many people like you are clueless and seem to be proud of it.

If you had bother to read any of my other posts you would know that I work for DHS and I'm a Firearms Instructor for the Border Patrol. So, not only have I spent more time on the range than you, I actually know what I'm talkning about when it comes to what type of rounds are used in practice for DHS.
