Just because someone is born somewhere doesn’t mean they are going to feel at home there. I was born in New York, but I knew in my heart that I didn’t belong there. So, after I left the military, I decided to stay where I felt at home — the Great Lone Star State.

I have met more than a couple of people here in Texas that should go back to where I originally came from.

Exactly. Bring some of your New York foods and gun factories, and leave the nanny state crap, unions, and bribery corruption behind.

“I have met more than a couple of people here in Texas that should go back to where I originally came from”.

Yeah, agree. As a NBT (native born Texian) I welcome any and all who subscribe to the values, culture and history of this great state. But, when anyone starts that “this is the way we do it back in xxxx, well, I say it’s time for them to pack it up and head back to where they came from. There’s a running joke among we NBT’s, “the Border Patroll is guarding the wrong river”. A little humor mixed with a little fact :)
