My wife and I early voted in NC. Got a lot of smirks as I asked all the people in line if they wanted my Tea Party voter guide as I was leaving. I live in a liberal town.
I believe it kind of goes to show that younger people aren’t as invested; people who have worked their whole life to see confusion about healthcare, etc. are rolling out in droves.
Obama thought he had a lock- these voters don’t want to see the rules change after working 30-40 years.
It’s like the airfield lights going off when you’re on final approach...
3000 112 year old’s voted already!
We old people can’t stand in line very long, we have to go pee. We like to vote early and easily.
Young people, especially these days, tend to do everything at the last minute.
So I wouldn’t read too much into these numbers, though they are encouraging.
