Did the good guys have millions of weapons and billions of rounds of ammunition in Rwanda? Were many of them veterans, military, law enforcement, hunters, outdoors people, shooting sports enthusiasts, survivalists, hillbillies, rednecks, ranchers, farmers, swampers, fishermen, etc? Did they own night vision goggles, CB & ham radios, MREs, camouflage outfits, SUVs and RVs? Did they have a good sprinkling of every kind of engineer, scientist, technician, tradesman, mechanic, doctor, nurse, medic, dentist and cook?

Actually I was going for the “bloody and barbaric” angle, no doubt in my mind which side will win. :)

It won’t be like Rwanda but more like Indonesia in 1965 when communists tried to overthrow the government & wound up getting slaughtered by the tens of thousands.
If I had the means to get up a psyops campaign, I would send a Cabela’s and/or Cheaper Than Dirt master catalogue to every known liberal in the land. There would be a serious mass freak-out on the left.

No, but many of them did have machetes and enough food to last for one hunger pang./S
