The problem is the election is based on the 57 state + DC electoral count (sorry, I have only been able to find 50 states with designated electors but I am still looking).

Most states are winner take all. No matter who wins the Democrat nomination, he pretty much starts out with these in his column, no matter who he is.

Add in either OH (18) or PA (20) as highly likely, you have around 230 the day of nomination. To win, 270 electors.

Why is there such an interest in getting illegals legalized? TX is 38. It is finished at that point.

HI 4
CA 55
WA 12
OR 7
MN 10
IL 20
MI 16
NY 29
MA 11
NJ 14
MD 10
DC 3
ME 4
VT 3
NH 4
RI 4
DE 3
209

Some of those states have gone Republican in the recent past. Did you know that Mr. Obama was only up by 5 in the most recent New Jersey poll that I’ve seen? Michigan may also be a toss-up this time.

I'm going to go ahead and claim state number 51. It is called Newcasie (NS unless I can convince North Carolina to give up NC). Newcasie is located in the area that used to be north Louisiana and will consist of a few oak tree covered acres on Hwy 157. I'm going to need a couple electors but we can work out the exact details later. Still 6 states left to claim. Don't let 'em go to waste!
