Dittos to everything you said about growing up as a military brat. I was just telling a client yesterday, that my military upbringing set me on a positive track in this life, and provided me with such a bounty of unique experiences, that I know it made me a better person.

That life (and the examples set by my parents) also instilled in me a sense of pride and love of country that runs to my bones. That part of me is completely unshakeable and unwavering. Even when I was a dim bulb Democrat, I always loved America.
