[Paul Ryan] loves this line of ‘our rights come from God and nature’, which is so offensive to so much of America. Because for black people, hispanic people and women, our rights do not come from God or nature. They were not recognized by the natural order of America. They come from the government and from legislation that happens in relatively recent history in America. So that line just bothers me to my core...

What an idiot! So there are no such things as human rights? Rights come from government? Actually, it was government that wrongly kept slaves in chains. What the government gives, it can take away. Does this idiot really want to rely on government for rights?

How much of America is offended by Ryan saying our rights come from God and nature? Liberals on the Upper West Side? Hollywood idiots?

I don’t doubt that “Toure” and his ilk are offended, because they never just disagree with someone, they are instead offended.

Liberals just don’t seem to understand concepts of individual liberty. It’s as if they want government to control all aspects of people’s lives, and for people to think that they have rights granted by government.
