I don’t know her entire history. I do however know someone who knows her. My friend is a Mormon and has been in the same church (temple?) with her for years. (They also go to the same hairdresser.)

According to my friend, she said that Ann is a very hard worker who worked day and night running their many charitable projects. She was very positive, very organized and got things done. She was really well liked by just about everyone but she had to resign when she got sick. My friend thinks very highly of her. BTW - my friend is a big liberal. She likes Ann but she’s not sure she likes her husband’s politics. Thinks he is much too conservative. LOL

That’s all I know of Ann. What I am waiting for is a picture of Michelle’s face and she tries to smile at a blonde lady if/when the Obamas have to leave the White House.

I am surprised your Mormon friend is so liberal, we always hear that they are conservative. Maybe liberalism is contagious in Mass.[ all my relatives there are.} I am sure Ann Romney would make a wonderful First Lady. I just felt her remark about not having a kitchen table 34 years ago and having to cash in stocks does not relate to most peoples financial hard times. It sounded a bit out of touch.
