People who post on these political boards just don't understand how little most of America cares about politics and how little they know about it.

So true. FReepers are without a doubt the most informed political junkies in the country. It's easy to forget that.

Even my family members (non-FReepers) who are political conservatives are often surprised by the "new" information I give them regarding issues and candidates of the day.

And, yes, I keep referring them to this site, but for some reason, they haven't managed to find the initative to look it up.

Their loss. But at least they're conservatives.

Have a friend like that. I have told her, yeah but you don’t have all the information and she said....I stay informed, I watch the news every night! lol When it is time to vote she always calls and asks me how to vote on the propositions though. ;)
