Akin may be the best thing that ever happened to the Democrat party. If he doesn’t withdraw he may earn a footnote In the history books as the guy who wrecked the Republicans chances in this election.

Missouri: Home of meth labs and weak beer.

Also lots of Democrats, homosexuals and peckerwoods.

“...voters not affiliated with either major party still favor Romney by 20 points. But Republican support in Missouri for the party’s likely nominee has fallen from 94% in late July to 85% now,” Rasmussen continues. “

Akin caused a drop in Republican support for Romney?

The only possible connection I can see is that Republicans were angry at Romney’s overly harsh response to Akin’s retracted remarks.

But my best guess is that there is no connection.

Starve the Beast. I just told the Republican National Committee that as long as they have people as stubborn as this guy in the Party I will send my money to the Tea Party.

people in Missouri need to slow down and take a deep breath and think about their senate and presidential votes very carefully and what it means for America.

God's people need to intensely pray for these folks as well as all the voters in America.

Better read the internals. They aren't pissed at Akin, they are pissed at Romnney for asking Akin to leave.

It would be best if the Conservative/GOP movement quit obsessing about Akin, you are cutting your own throats.

“Obama’s Democratic support in the state remains largely unchanged at 96%, and voters not affiliated with either major party still favor Romney by 20 points. But Republican support in Missouri for the party’s likely nominee has fallen from 94% in late July to 85% now,” Rasmussen continues.

It really looks like the best thing would be to mount a write-in campaign with some articulate conservative candidate, and have both Romney and Palin campaign for him or her so that Romney is seen as really rejecting Akin. (We can debate whether it’s fair or right or giving in to the left-wing media another time. The country is at stake. Akin’s brand is damaged beyond repair, and besides pulling party funding something more public is needed so that the ‘Rats can’t uses him to drag the national ticked down — Romney falling in behind a Palin-backed write-in campaign in Missouri would be just the thing. Even better add funding for the write-in from the national GOP.)

My personal view: The Dems have climbed, reached and now passed their “Akin Peak”. They won’t recognize that fact at first but it will slowly sink in.

Patience is in order.

Fm: Senator Claire McCaskill

Dear Todd,

I can’t thank you enough for bringing my candidacy back from the brink. This plan is unfolding amazingly well!

I urge you to continue with forebearance against the voices in your party to drop out from this race. I couldn’t have picked a better partner to help see me to victory. Remember, we’re in this together, and your rewards after election day will be many!

With much appreciation and affection,

Your biggest BFF, Claire

This is starting to look very convenient. Without delving too much into conspiracy theory, a republican candidate is funded by the democrats in a three way race, succeeds and then makes a unbelievably stupid statement two days before a withdrawal deadline which is allowed to pass by the candidate. Then the poll number switch to Obama. These are machinations typical of the likes of Shumer, Reid and Obama.

Akin may be being paid off.

Al Franken (D): “And, ‘I give the pills to Lesley Stahl. Then, when Lesley’s passed out, I take her to the closet and rape her.’ Or, ‘That’s why you never see Lesley until February.’ Or, ‘When she passes out, I put her in various positions and take pictures of her.’”

With the national conversation now turning to women’s issues as a result of the bizarre and offensive comments by Missouri Senate candidate Todd Akin, it seems a bit odd that Vice President Biden would take the stage with Franken, considering his own lack of sensitivity to the horrors of rape. Frankin thinks rape is hilarious.

So, where is the liberal media on this? Frankin, being a democrat (and using their own propaganda against them) says Oboma thinks rape is something to laugh and joke about. Where is the outrage against Oboma?

If people are so stupid and flakey as to choose a democrat ticket because of screwy comments by one GOP congressman- then they are beyond redemption

They are not and may never be intelligent informed voters

They vote by emotion

They are excellent sheeple for those who play on their emotions (fear and anger) rather than their reason

in other words they are typical of the democrat base

buh bye America
