I’m growing tired of “Sarah Palin Endorses”

As a matter of fact, I’m tired of any “endorses”.

Like me or anybody else needs somebody else’ “endorsement” to help us figure out who is going to vote our values.

I don’t need any mayor or governor to endorse who I choose, I don’t need any newspaper editorial to point me in the right direction, and I don’t need any other country to help me make my selection.

Let them just lay the dang cards out and I’ll choose who I choose.

Palin calls positive attention to conservative candidates. Nothing wrong with that.

Very True, and in looking at the big picture, that’s appropriate. I guess what turned my worm is the headline. IMO, Sandy’s name should be first.

Any endorsee’s name should come first.

I’m thinking cynically that endorsers are endorsing to see their names in the headlines.

But in realization, neither entity controls the headline. It’s the news seller that is using the biggest name to draw the most attention.

So there it is - my peeve is with the news sellers.

Any endorsee’s name should come first.

That's a matter of opinion, and it's an odd one. The endorser's name should come first, because the endorser is the one who has garnered attention for the candidate by doing the specifically newsworthy thing that has generated the news report. Without the actions of the endorser (usually holding a press conference or generating a press release to announce the endorsement) the story wouldn't exist.

I think you were right the first time. You're tired of "Sarah Palin endorses." Specifically so.

When Governor Palin endorses a candidate, their campaign normally experiences a sharp uptick in donations.

“Governor Palin’s support is proof-positive that Sandy Adams is the conservative choice for Florida’s new 7th Congressional District.”

Uh, not always.

Sorry Governor Palin this is where you and I walk different paths.
I have known and work with and for John Micca since the 70s in Broward/Ft. Lauderdale and am not stopping now.
He’s doing great work with Rep Issa on F&F.

That's a question, right? Questions require question marks, don't they? See how easy this is?

Why don't you "cite" Chambliss instead? Then your post will make a little more sense.

So who did you want to win the '08 runoff? The Democrat Jim Martin?

How can you say that? She did a lot for the 2010 election - what d you expect her to do, nothing???

Bet if she did nothing you’d be complaining she isn’t doing enough.

This is going to take all we’ve got to beat what we’re fighting against. What are you going to do to make a difference besides whine on FR?

Thank you. Many of these candidates I would have missed. I have no problem reviewing their records and sending contributions to other states’ races after doing my own due diligence. We need the fresh blood. Badly.

I think I saw this guy way back when on TV berating Novak for a less than perfect English response to a question which was somehow supposed to prove he was right about the argument. He was a Perot supporter back then.
