If 'bam get a second term, he'll get really nasty. He'll gut the constitution, seize property, extort, appoint at least two leftist Supreme Court Justices (anybody want to bet on Eric Holder?), prosecute servicemen and citizens who defend themselves, open the borders...
Wrong. He'll try to do those things. Whether or not he succeeds is another thing altogether. If he faces a Congress newly replenished with conservative Republicans and an American public where nearly two in three voted against him, he will reveal himself to be the phony Oz he is.
Your lack of faith in the American system of government is something else. If Obama was that powerful, he'd have done all those things you say long before this. The truth is that Obama is a scarecrow doing excellent work at frightening birds into staying out of the field.
That's true. Though it is the greatest system ever devised, but it's not fool-proof. A thing of such value--like a rare jewel-- needs to be guarded, it's processor must be constantly vigilant. We as a people have failed to do this, and teach our children to do the same.
