Funny, I live in Texas and I haven't seen or heard any ad's touting Dewhurst's conservative record.

I have seen a number attacking Cruz.

The fact that Cruz isn't a 'career politican' is a plus, not a minus.

“Funny, I live in Texas and I haven’t seen or heard any ad’s touting Dewhurst’s conservative record.

That’s strange. I have. What media market are you in?

“I have seen a number attacking Cruz.”

As I mentioned in my post that answered your request to lay out Dewhurst’s conservative record, telling people about Cruz Lawyerly background and the type of case Crus takes on is not “attacking”.

Cruz and his out-of-state interests falsely claiming Dewhurst is not a conservative and is a tax-raiser, and member of the “establishment” - now that is attacking.

“The fact that Cruz isn’t a ‘career politican’ is a plus, not a minus.”

The fact is, Cruz IS the career politician in this race - not Dewhurst! Here’s how. After attending Princeton with an eye on becoming a lawyer as part of the journey to becoming a career politian, taking the same well-known route many in the Senate have done, Cruz then went to Harvard, then clerked in Washington, D.C., then was appointed to high positions in government, for most of his working life, then started working for a famous international law firm, from where he is running for his FIRST elective position - one of the two United States Senate seats from Texas. I’d say that is about the purest form of career politician there is!

David Dewhurst, on the other hand, went to public schools in Texas, played basketball at the University of Arizona, became an officer in the U.S. Air Force, afterward working in intelligence for the feds a short time, finding out that didn’t suit him, resigned to go into private business when Texas was in recession back in the 80s, ultimately becoming successful, then being elected land commissioner of Texas at age 53. That is not being a career politician - that is a private citizen becoming a public-spirited public official in his home state for the right reasons.

And that is why I am asking you to really try to set aside the pre-conceived ideas you have about Dewhurst, and Cruz, and with an open-mind consider that maybe another conservative guy like yourself, but with a differing perspective on this race now, may have stumbled onto some information after really looking and changed his opinion, because I used to have the same opinion about this race as you!
