Rick Santorum was savaged by team Romney for openly calling for union members to vote for him. Never mind the fact that team Romney had people going door to door in the hardest left union areas urging them to vote for him.

My sister in Livonia said Romneytards showed up at her place at least 4 times saying that Romney is the true moderate who supported “women’s rights” and making sure her son got a good education.

She IS our candidate when WE win.

All we gotta do is knock off the E’s of the GOP, or do just what the RINO GOPe has been trying to get us to do, because they think we would become irrelevant as a third party having stolen “conservatism” by redefining it as RINOism, and that is to start a truly conservative party that will fight back with leadership the calibre the GOP lost long ago.

Any “Conservative Party” should include the essence of the TEA Party Patriots, as well the strength, and the commonsense of leadership we long for such as Sarah Palin, Jim DeMint, Paul Ryan, and a number of others.

The RINO plan to cause true Conservatism irrelevance should just explode in the faces of the Liberal Elitists that have conned their way into the leadership positions of the GOP, and made it the irrelevant party it is becoming today.

Now that we have some leaders we should go for the gusto, and do that third party in time for 2016. Take the country back by taking back the political system so cunningly hijacked over the years by Leftist scheming.

2012 we have to vote out Obama, get as many TEA Party Conservatives as possible, and take over the Senate majority along with the House. Stop the Leftward move by keeping Romney under control, and work towards Conservative leadership in 2016.

Not the end of the message, but the end of the rant.

"it’s the corrupt, greedy union leadership, and some hand picked thugs, not the rank and file workers"

For some reason this false disclaimer, this lie, is never challenged.

So all those “Reagan Democrats” in the AFL-CIO, Teamsters, IBEW and other unions were just a figment of someones imagination or a made-up chimera?

Palin was always a key to the Reagan Democrats, and I used to think the Republicans were champing at the bit to reach them again. But in its dismissive treatment of Palin and the Tea Party these past few years, it proved to me the GOP-E was quite disinterested, preferring to cozy up once again mainly to the northeastern Wall Street money/insider crowd; mid-America be damned. If any inroads are now being made, it seems mainly due to the sickening unpalatability of Obama.

Declarative statements posing as questions that begin with the word "So" and end with a question mark are lame but since you post so many fine threads I'll respond.

Here's what I clearly said: Rank and file unionists are are corrupt, greedy, thugs. Toss in lazy for seasoning. The disclaimer pols use claiming it's only the leadership is a lie.

Re Reagan Dem unionists: Not imagination nor made up chimera.. just past history.

Exactly! And if we don't vote for Romney, or vote for a third party, and Obama wins, we do not stand a chance. Romney might not be our favorite, but he is just a step on the ladder for where we want to go. With enough TEA Party Conservatives in Congress who keep him in line, we will start the long process of restoring the glory to our Republic, the prosperity and freedom to our citizens, and regain our status and respect internationally.

Teamsters supported Nixon and Nixon pardoned Hoffa.
Trucking deregulation and who controlled it was part of the reason for supporting Reagan, as well as domestic drilling and energy production.
Industrial labor unions are one thing.

Public employee unions are a horse of a different color.

I don’t recall being lazy or corrupt as I helped thousands of veterans find work as a Local Veterans Employment Represenative (LVER) at the Iowa Workforce Development Agency where I belonged to AFSCME for 15 years. OTOH, Gerald McEntee and the rest of the leadership of that union make ACORN and SEIU look like choir boys.

"Declarative statements posing as questions that begin with the word "So" and end with a question mark are lame but since you post so many fine threads I'll respond."

Referring to any sincere question posed by a fellow conservative patriot as "lame," regardless of phrasing or punctuation, is the very embodiment of that which actually is "lame." Further setting yourself up as some pseudo-big shot by deigning to reply because this other has somehow risen to fulfill your demanding criteria of worthiness marks you as a pompous spink.

Get over yourself, once you get your own roupeillaté out of your fetid rambouase. You spink.

IMHO, Sarah has the right mindset. I known many of the rank-n-file union workers over time and they are certainly for things like hunting and gun rights, against gay rights, lke to be left alone and their dislike for the elite. Time to bypass the union executives and so-called leadership and reach out to the rank-n-file workers. The workers should find a way to throw out the elitists in the union leadership as well and put in more like minded folks.

It's not just the leadership.

Of course not. There are perhaps many among the rank and file of unions who are just as ideologically fanatical as their union bosses.

At the same time there are definitely as many or more of the rank and file who would much rather have a regular job and regular paycheck, than to create situations where all the jobs leave their area.

Winning hearts and minds is never a "100% or none" proposition.

If we can get 50% of union workers to consider NOT "tearing it all down, man", in favor of reasonable policies that will save jobs, then we just might get that 50% to vote in such a way that will save their jobs and reduce the stranglehold the union bosses and fanatics have on our economy.

Class warfare is ugly and counterproductive from either direction.
