Dewhurst runs a repetitive ad that claims Cruz is helping China rip off American company’s.

It’s just not true and it’s sleazy.

I already voted for him—voted absentee the other day. I really, really like this guy.

I think he’s the real deal.

?

sorry
dewhurst’s experience shows nothing in the way of leadership and initiative. he is a good “ go along to get along” kind a guy. a nice guy but not the take charge kind of guy with the ability to frame things in a way to get all to agree.

Nope’ No to dewhurst

On the off-chance that maybe you are willing to consider that I just might be telling you the truth about Dewhurst being more conservative than Cruz, because I do know some things you might be unaware of,

Here is a link to some information about the case in question:

http://www.globaltirenews.com/headlines2.html?id=1281627398

One lawyer told me he put Cruz signs out because Dewhurst called attention to Cruz work on behalf of the billion-dollar Chinese company that stole the designs of the small American company, because it upset him that Dewhurst would obliquely remind voters in that ad that we already have a surfeit of Harvard-educated trial lawyers such as Cruz in the U.S. Senate representing the interests of China over that of Americans.

I have no part in the Dewhurst campaign. All I can tell you is I’m a conservative in Texas with some familiarity with Dewhurst and state politics and my conclusion is Dewhurst is more conservative than Cruz, and I think a lot of tea-partiers, a movement I agree with on the issues, have been seduced by out of state interests to think otherwise.

Your are obvously completely clueless as to the life and bio’s of the candidates if you actually think that. But I doubt that you do, because what you said is nothing but groundless assertions.

Lt. Governor Dewhurst’s experience shows everything in the way of leadership and initiative, Cruz shows nothing of the sort.

I voted for him this morning, & would have even if Sarah had endorsed someone else. He’s a member of my church (Houston’s First Baptist).

I got a call from Sarah today too. My mom voted on Monday & she got a call from someone saying “We see you have already voted, will you share with us who you voted for in such & such (she doesn’t remember) race?” She told them it was still a secret ballot & she preferred to keep it that way. Too many people know stuff that is none of their business!

They did not ask for my id even though I had not yet signed my voter registration card. IIRC we have a voter id law in Texas but some prog judge is holding it up. Also, they gave me a choice as to whether or not to have my card stamped “Republican.” I declined.

I voted for “Uncommitted” for prez.

I’ll Have Another!!!!!!

He seems to be raising some serious money now. As I understand it, Dewhurst has a large war chest.

It’s too bad that money has to be part of it, but it is what it is!

Ah yes personal attacks will really change someone’s mind.
You can always tell when someone knows they are wrong, they go right to personal attacks.
come into a thread on Ted Cruz and start personal attacks against anyone who disagrees with you. Really smart.

You stay classy Y’hear.

Fine. You did not work on the ad campaign, yet you know more detail about the ad, then someone who just saw it a few times. Perhaps you can answer some questions ?

What time period did Cruz work for the Chinese Firm ?
What exactly did Cruz do for them ?
When was the Chinese firm found guilty of stealing secrets and intellectual knowledge ?
Is Cruz still working for the Chinsese firm ?
Did he take the Chinese work on his own volition or was he required to work for them because of a firm Cruz worked at ?
What work did Cruz perform that directly related to the case of intellectual theft ?

Until all those questions are answered, ad as played is dirty tricks.

And BTW - You wont sway Freepers with insults. It says more about you, then the people you insult. And that my friend, is some kind advice.

Well, if that’s the case, he also tricked Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck and a lot of other good Conservatives.

Here is a kind reply to your kind advice, but I would sincerely like to know why you would take it as an insult to be shown that Dewhurst is conservative and we Texans are being played by Harvard Lawyer Cruz for one of our US Senate seats.

May I remind you that without you knowing any particulars about the Chinese industrial espionage case, when Dewhurst ran truthful ads about the case, (which Dewhurst did only after Cruz distorted Dewhurst’s fine record as a conservative, falsely acccusing Dewhurst of not even being a conservative) YOU were the one who accuseed Dewhurst of playing “dirty tricks”.

So, if you look at the actual posts, it is you who started with the insults, not me.

Let’s get to your questions, which ask mostly for irrelevant information that would be unavailable to anyone but the Lawyers in the case.

I can answer you with the information you need to understand this. Cruz is the lawyer of record in the case, so you can’t slip out of responsibility for what Cruz is doing that way. Cruz works works for the Chinese firm now and is representing them now and is engaging in the delaying tactics to avoid a judgement that has been rendered against an American, now. Crus is part of a big International Law Firm right now. If he loses his Senate run, he still works for the firm, because as far as I know he didn’t resign from it to run for US Senate. Implying Cruz did not take the case “of his own volition” is bull**** and you know it, and nobody but Cruz knows exactly what work did Cruz perform that directly related to the case of intellectual theft, and Cruz isn’t answering any questions about it.

What bothers me is that some people are so willing to believe anything they are told, as long as the words tea party are involved, that some lawyer with no private business experience, no leadership experience, no executive experience, no military experience, and most importantly no legislative experience would be better for Texas and better than a proven conservative with all the above experience and a conservative record on all the issues.

Sometimes when somebody pulls back the curtain, the view is shocking, but Cruz is not the proven conservative a lot of tea-patiers are making him out to be.

“Well, if that’s the case, he also tricked Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck and a lot of other good Conservatives.”

Yes, he has. But that is because Sarah Palin sees it aqs more important to build a team of powerful office-holders who owe their seats to her and will support her in the future. Not that there’e anything wrong with that.

And Glenn Beck? You mean Romney-guy Glenn Beck who recently moved to Texas? Please.

Lemme get this straight. 2nd Divisionvet Sarah Palinite starts a pro-Cruz thread that begins, middles, and ends by attacking and insulting a good conservative, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, and you want to take the conservative defender of of the attacked conservative to task for personal attacks?

Read every one of the pro-Cruz threads and you will find what they are is really anti-Dewhurst threads started by tea-partiers who have latched onto Harvard Lawyer Cruz (or is it Harvard Lawyer Cruz who has latched onto Palin and the tea party).

And then when some conservative points this out, he is accused of being the one who started with the persinal attacks!

Just read the posting! Cruz starts out with an attack on the conservative Dewhurst right out of the box! And I quote: a “ tired establishment, moderate incumbents that have led to our country being on the verge of bankruptcy”
a “timid,Career politician”.

What?! Dewhurst is none of those things! And when Dewhurst campaign says something that is the absolute truth about what Cruz’ career consists of, Cruz posters call that “dirty tricks” and “personal attacks.”

There is one thing about telling someone else to “stay classy”. Try to remember that you fired first!

His job, which is Lt. Governor of the State of Texas, whose capitol happens to be in Austin.
