Palin Responds To Fox News Chief Saying She Had ‘No Chance’ Of Becoming President
Talking Points Memo ^ | April 13, 2012 | David Taintor

Posted on 04/13/2012 6:17:27 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Sarah Palin, in an interview with Breitbart News, responded to Fox News chief Roger Ailes’ remark that she “had no chance” of becoming president.

Palin called the Fox executive’s comment “interesting.” She continued:

I haven’t heard all of his remarks, but I wonder if he is aware that the same thing was said about me when I ran for city council, mayor, and eventually governor. No doubt many people who are told they can’t do something will work that much harder, and they succeed. Maybe you guys should send him a copy of Steve Bannon’s The Undefeated. The theme of Steve’s film isn’t about me, but about the idea of not letting others dictate one’s path in life and never giving up when you’re fighting for something precious like our exceptional nation and our children’s futures. So, would you send a copy of The Undefeated to him?

Mediaite reached out to Fox News, and received this response from Ailes:

“When I hired most of the Republican contributors, none of them had any immediate prospects of becoming President —I wasn’t referring to any of their long-term prospects, including Governor Palin. I hired all of them because they made for good television at the time. Sarah Palin is young and nobody can predict the future.”

Guess all the nastiness towards Palin worked in the end. Sad.

Every once in a while Ailes will say something that convinces me he's an idiot.

no way another democrat will win

Oh yes there is, the same way they did it in the old Soviet Union.

Then stop the primaries right now. What’s the point of carrying on. Stop the farce of having them at all.

There was something that convinced Palin not to run after all the groundwork and infrastructure she and her paid consultants laid down over the summer. I’m convinced it was her high unfavorables. The difference between her and Newt is that Palin is an intelligent person who knows when there’s nothing to be gained from running a losing campaign. Newt ignored his high unfavorables and wound up in debt. That’s why Palin might someday be president and Newt never will.

Way too simple an interpretation. Both Palin and Newt made their choices for their own personal reasons and we may never know all the dynamics. Newt stayed to try to thwart Romney, which I find noble. Especially after all the smears andother snubs because he's the only real conservative we have left. Just because someone stays in beyond the event horizon does not mean there isn't something good about it.

I choose not to surrender to the inevitable but to look for any other means to be victorious. All Santorum would have to do is to pledge his delegates to Newt and it's Game On. I still haven't voted yet as is true with a lot of others. It's a two man race now, that increases the odds for Newt.

The only method that has proven to be effective against tyranny is the use of brute force, which in this case means exercising our constitutional rights to enforce the rule of law.

After which the cycle will begin anew ...

... in 2016 ... no way another democrat will win ...

By then the one party system will be firmly established, and no further elections will be needed.

In 2016 - Obiwano will be looking for someone to appoint as his successor in the coming decades, former freedom fighters, now held at Gitmo, will be freed and appointed by E. Holder to various regulatory cultural commissions, the koran will become required reading at all educational levels, and so on ...

In 2016 - Various and sundry groups will pop up preaching armed revolution, but will be quickly, brutally, and bloodily suppressed by imported freedom fighters and major mexican drug gangs working together ...

In 2016 - The Muslim Brotherhood will become the major political party in the US, which by then will look much like Syria does today.

In 2016 - Alaska will remain free, having succeed to become an independant country, and Palin will be President.

Roger Ails pays his ticket of admission to the arena for ratings. He stands for nothing, but Blondes (appropriately) for commentators. How many of them have ever held an elective office at any level?

Ailes is right. He owns Palin, as he did Newt. Palin sqwaked for years about the Lame Stream Media, yet didn’t say one word about her network and boss literally making a national fool out of Newt, the candidate she voted for. Ailes continues to publicly humiliate her saying he only hired her because she’s hot and that she’ll never be president. Yet she is still on his payroll. Ailes owns Sarah Palin. That’s why she didn’t dare endorse Newt. Ailes wouldn’t allow it. Now like Coulter, she’s singing Romney’s praises. Why, because she was paid to do so. Next Ailes will instruct her, to join the GOPe & publicly endorse Romney, and she will do it! Mama Grizzly my Arse, Sarah is bought and paid for!

It has worked for civilizations that have came before us, and it will continue to work long after we're long gone. Survival of the fittest.
