I agree perfectly.
If the Republicans had wanted to win, they would have run the most credentialed nominee they could find and they would have run as hard as they can.
I think they are afraid of holding the financial bag and being blamed for the economic situation of 2012-2016. If the Republicans won 2012, and everything goes to pot, they know that the media will work hard to ensure that the Republicans are held responsible, even if we know it won’t be.
It’s my guess that the Republicans are hoping for a 2012 loss so there is no way to spin a good Democratic yarn about how it is not their fault.
At this point, the Republicans will run a superstar and hope to get both the House and Senate to boot. I honestly believe, if they win in 2016, they will at that point do some strong reforms, if they do have control of everything.
That’s why they don’t want Newt to win and are doing everything they can to beat him.
So all the talk of the Country about to Collapse is just scare tactics or The Party we are supposed to support is plotting to let the country collapse just so they wont be Blamed, but millions of people will have their lives destroyed. Sounds rational to me,What a Great Country
"Americans love a winner and will not tolerate a loser. Gen George Patton, 31 May 1944
The establishment hated this man and did everything in their power to minimize him through the press. Was he a premidona? Hell yes, he wore it with pride but he would not spin the truth. The establishment is playing the same stupid game with this election as well. They know that Romney does not have the stones or the support from within the crony establishment insiders who fund his campaign and Super PACs to do the tough things necessary to turn things around. We already know the next four years are going to be tougher than the last four but the ship will never start to turn unless the rudder is turned. They are vested in keeping the money spigot flowing in their direction only and will destroy anyone who proposes a plan to do otherwise. Only the true conservatives have the answer to taking the steering locks out of the wheelhouse and until the general electorate figure this out, we will stay headed directly at the icebergs ahead.
