It’s pretty clear she isn’t thrilled with Romney and is trying to provide Newt or Santorum some room to compete (seems like she prefers Gingrich). In the end though, Palin is going to support Romney if he is the nominee - and she is not going to say anything during the process that would make it difficult for her to campaign for him.

Romney’s problem is that conservatives are not as easy to fool as liberals.

A great candidate for perhaps being appointed as Ambassador to France...or possibly the head of the Small Business Administration...
Great candidate for POTUS? Nope. For the good of the country Romney needs to be kept far away from any position that has any say about national taxing and spending policies.

I will NEVER be convinced that Romney is anything other than the self-serving crony communist that he has been for his entire self-serving career of lying, cheating, and stealing.
I sincerely, and SEVERELY, hope that his campaign efforts dig so deeply into his personal stolen fortunes that he is properly reduced to dumpster-diving for his daily fare, and has to live under a bridge for refuge from the weather and the justified contempt of the American people.
Other than that, he's probably a swell guy, with a picture-perfect family of equally pretentious scumbags; yes, he's probably a perfectly lovable genuine fake, fraud, scamster, POS who deserves nothing but the finest trial and fairest hanging.

A person from NC explained to me that when southern ladies say “bless your heart” it isn’t meant as a compliment...I think Sarah’s remarks about Romney are like that ;-)

Actually, the question was, from Romney’s Media-Wife Wallace,
“Would (the lying, backstabber) Romney make a good President”?
Gov. Palin was correct. The answer is NO.
but she was tactful.
Romney is so bad that if he is on the ticket,
NO ONE WILL VOTE GOP.

Seems pretty clear that although she’s leaning Newt, that she’ll support the GOP candidate regardless.

Romney is a severely great candidate. He's the perfect epitome of Groucho Marx's motto:
"The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing. If you can fake that, you've got it made."

Romney will say "See? Sarah Palin thinks I'm a great candidate!"
And his RINO supporters will chip in "and that's because he's not a true conservative!"

I am in severe agreement with her about Romney not being a convincing conservative.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
That is because after spending most of his career as a lib, he cannot come out and say that over the last few years he has become "severely conservative".
Over all this primary season, I cannot remember any solution or policy statement from Romney that stands out as unique and conservative.
All I can remember are his attacks on the other candidates who actually have several accomplishments in their background that conservatives can appreciate.
