Occupy hecklers tried to disrupt Sarah Palin's CPAC speech, in which she regularly turned President Obama's rhetoric against him, but the crowd shouted them down and Palin turned the moment into a example of how grassroots conservatives can beat Obama.
"We aren't red Americans, we aren't blue Americans, we're red, white, and blue and President Obama we are through with you," Palin said in an appropriation of Obama's 2008 campaign lines. She called for "Change that we can believe in, change we need," she said, continuing that meme, explaining that "we can't wait -- our country hangs in the balance."
When the Occupy hecklers interrupted her, Palin joined the crowd in shouting "U-S-A! U-S-A!" -- a litany that quiickly gave way to chants of "SAR-AH! SAR-AH!" as the occupiers were ushered from the room. "See, you just won!" Palin told the audience. "You see how easy that is?"
Palin attacked President Obama for the Senate Democrats failure to pass a budget. "Going on a 1000 and some days and still no budget -- he mucked it up," Palin said. Obama, directing a remark to Congress while speaking about economic recovery, recently said "don't muck it up."
She also focused on Obama's spending and debt increase. "We paid for three years of his administration and we cannot afford four more," she said. "Folks, this government isn't too big to fail, it's too big to succeed."
Reiterating her frequent attack on crony capitalism, Palin attacked Obama for campaign on a populist, "Carrharts-and-steel-toed-boots-r-us" campaign message. "Obama's capitalism," Palin said, is a "capitalism of connections." She noted that "graft, cronyism -- that's the Chicago way," arguing that Obama brought that way to the nation's capitol.
With that, Palin made an appeal to the Occupy protesters. "I say to the Occupy protesters -- you're occupying the wrong place, you're protesting the wrong thing," she declared.
You can smell an Occuturd a mile away, literally, they stink THAT badly!
She strikes fear in their hearts when she does this. Their meaning Dems and Republicans both.
bttt
Brilliant
Get out and vote...at every level vote for patriotic conservatives. Every level down to dog-catcher! Every level.
She was wonderful as always. As she spoke and the crowd responded with unbridled enthusiasm,,,I found myself asking “WHY didn’t you run, Sarah, why?”. (Yes I know she had her reasons). She was the ROCK STAR of the whole CPAC event, exactly what we need in a president IMO. The People were telling her to run ever since 2008, they’re still telling her. I think she made the wrong decision. She should have run.
Most Occupy people. . . .now Occupy Mother’s Basement. . .
Had she run, the Romney flying monkeys would have Cain'd her, just like they did in '08.
LOVE YA SARAH!
Sarah has been smeared so much by the Commies that in their panic they immunized her a great deal from any future smears they would've thrown at her.
It is a pity she didn't run. I would've voted for her. I voted for her in 2008.
“See, you just won!” Palin told the audience. “You see how easy that is?”
LOVE IT
